Programs

After + Outside of School

Salesian Boys & Girls Club offers a variety of afterschool programs. During their time at the club, children can participate in homework help and tutoring, sports, art, cooking club, dance club, and science.

The East Boston YMCA provides families with the option of part-time childcare. There is bus transportation from the school to the YMCA. Please contact Brittany Ortiz at (857) 205-5620 for more information. 

BCYF Paris St.

 As the City of Boston’s largest human services agency we offer a plethora of affordable programs for all ages BCYF is committed to providing high-quality, outcome driven after school programs, beginning at age six, that are responsive to neighborhood needs and interests.

East Boston Social Centers offers year round Out-of-School-Time programming. Children engage in a number "hands on, minds" on activities. Homework help, STEAM, SEL, Physical fitness activities, to name a couple, are offered during programming.

Zumix

ZUMIX is an East Boston-based organization dedicated to building our community through music and creative technology.Their award-winning music and creative technology programming is designed to equip youth with the tools necessary to reach their full potential, while creating a safe space for youth to explore who they are and who they want to be. Through community events, ZUMIX provides access to top-quality arts experiences the neighborhood.

Harborkeepers

Harborkeepers is a community organization with a mission to build coastal community resiliency and foster environmental stewardship through education, engagement and advocacy. They provide marine education opportunities to youth around East Boston and organize harbor and riverside clean ups in the neighborhood.

Piers Park Sailing Center

Located on the waterfront in East Boston, Massachusetts, Piers Park Sailing Center (PPSC) is a community center dedicated to providing accessible recreational, educational, and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages and abilities in Boston Harbor through community sailing programs.

ICA Watershed

Located in the Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina in East Boston, the ICA Watershed transforms a 15,000-square-foot, formerly condemned space into a new civic and cultural asset. Award-winning firm Anmahian Winton Architects designed the renovation of the derelict former copper pipe facility, conserving its industrial feel while restoring the building for new use. Each summer, the ICA invites one artist to create a site-specific work or installation. The Watershed also houses an orientation gallery introducing visitors to the historic shipyard, a waterside gathering place with stunning harbor views, and a flexible space for exhibitions, programming, and workshops.

Boston Public Library,

East Boston Branch

The East Boston branch of the Boston Public Library is a welcoming space, free and open for all. It is located on Bremen St. Park, withn walking distance of our school. It features after hours return, bike racks, computers, printing, scanning, laptops, outdoor space, parking lot, quite study rooms, reservable community spaces, and WiFi. They also offer English, Arabic, and Spanish language collections, English language learning classes, and homework help.
